We’re starting the year off with a bang. First up is our MUA FESTIVAL – an annual event we started back in 2024, showcasing Pasefika performing and creative arts from within our community.
This year, MUA will be a celebration of our 10th birthday – a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come as an organisation that prioritises grassroots initiatives and develops creative talent from our own community. We invite our fellow community members to join us on stage – whether it be singing, dancing or acting – be part of this PICAA movement.

With works written and directed by Fulisia Asalemo Tofete, music composed and directed by Dr. Rita Seumanutafa-Palala and Lelili’o Steve Tafea, and cultural material made by Malagamaalii Gina Tafea, MUA promises to be a spectacular showing of Pasefika and local artistic talent. We are grateful for a partnership with Bowery Theatre/Creative Brimbank for this event.
Show dates are: Friday 13th and Saturday 14th February 2026 – rehearsals commence this week so if you want to join us on stage, submit your EOI through this form here and we’ll be in touch!
Stay tuned for our next lot of events coming up soon but in the meantime, get your EOI submitted by Jan 10 fams!
