MUA Festival

(Theatre, Music, Cultural Arts, Dance)

Pasefika theatre development was the main feature of PICAA’s work in early 2026 with the celebration of our 10th birthday in the MUA FESTIVAL 2026: CELEBRATING 10 YEARS WITH PICAA event. We hosted 2 x sold out shows in February, performing some of our favourites works as well as premiering new works by Samoan playwright and theatre director Fulisia Asalemo Tofete, highlighting the future of PICAA’s arts leadership in Australia. The event was a partnership with Bowery Theatre and Creative Brimbank – where PICAA is based on Friday evenings throughout the year. For more information on PICAA Theatre, contact Asalemo@picaa.com.au.
