Join PASEFIKA VITORIA CHOIR this year. We performed at the recent Victorian premiere of the Tinā film this month and this week we’re ready to welcome new singers to the PVC family. To join us, here are some things to consider:
- We rehearse every Sunday evenings 630pm – 830pm in the western suburbs for the first half of the year, then we will move to the northern suburbs for the second half. Our singers come from west/north so we want to keep it fair for everyone. Note – If we have to add a few urgent rehearsals (eg. big performance coming up) then we will also rehearse in the CBD on a weeknight.
- Membership is voluntary however we ask singers to commit to at least 80% of the rehearsal schedule in our preparation for each performance.
- Our choir director Rita Seumanutafa-Palala is teaching us how to read music and learn better vocal technique. If you love singing and want to promote Pacific music in Australia, then this choir is for you!
We have a pretty busy performance schedule this year so we are closing membership on Monday 31st March – make sure you contact us before then.
